Gone Fishing

The morning was hot and muggy.  It was the perfect day to head for my favorite pond.  Now I'm not a serious fisherman by any means.  I just use it as an excuse to escape from the world and take some time out, away from my computer.  So I put my rod and reel in the boat and away I went!

Worms - never. I use those phoney things that just pretend to look like worms.  After all, the idea is not to actually work hard, but rather to contemplate the depths of water.  I want to see the fish - not catch them.

Now life should always be this simple.  But suddenly my line was getting away from me.  No matter how hard I pulled, the line pulled back harder.  I began to realize that this was going to be major exercise!

My line had succeeded in catching a scuba diver checking out an old computer.  The only one who seemed amused was the fish!
