DO NOT use the information below. I've left the information below for former students who may still be using the links:

This module continues to build on skills that were introduced last week. When you've completed this module, you'll be able to:

  • Learn to use visible and invisible tables to control the appearance on the page;
  • NETSCAPE or MOSAIC users: Use the PUBLISH button to upload pages on the McGill web server to prepare for publishing your page worldwide. You may also want to use FTP software if publish feature does not work
  • WINDOWS VISTA & MAC --> Use FileZilla Client - it is free for both platforms. If you already have an FTP client for the Mac (Fetch, Cyberduck, etc.) you may use that as well.
  • WINDOWS XP ONLY --->you will use FTP(Windows XP only) please click here to download -- make sure FTP info matches the following screen. Substitute you own username and password.:

*** to load automatically --the file needs to be called: index.htm or index.html

If you use the publish feature in Netscape or Mosaic the screen should look like this:
